Invitation to attend SARA Spring Conference, June 7-11, 2025
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýDear radio enthusiasts, ? ? The Society of Amateur Radio Astronomers (SARA) Spring 2025 conference is being cohosted by Radio JOVE this year. Please consider attending in person or virtually. Radio JOVE will have presentations about the new Radio JOVE 2.1 spectrograph system, Motivation and Communication in Citizen Science, Citizen Science projects using Radio JOVE, and Calibration Methods. Please contact me if you have an idea for a presentation, it may be considered. ? ? Registration: ¡ñ??????? Registration for Eastern Conference is open from March 1, 2025 ¨C May 29, 2025 ¡ñ??????? ¡ñ??????? Registration for SARA and Radio Jove Members (US Dollars): o?? In-Person Attendance: $225.00 o?? Online Attendance: $25.00 ¡ñ??????? Registration includes meals, evening activities, hands-on activities, and opportunities for observations, but does not include lodging. ¡ñ??????? The fee for family members or other guests who do not participate in conference sessions is $95.00 (USD), which includes meals and evening activities. ? We used to get that same error message after we had closed the SDRuno program using the "x" in the top-right corner. For some reason, it is best to go to "File" then "Exit" to avoid that "system argument error." That said, the fix for use was to just restart the computer and try again. Hope that helps. ? Greetings...John, Salvador, Duane, and I all recorded the same same event at 1552 UTC.
According to Solar Event Reports this was a "Swept Frequency Radio Burst".
The folks at e-Callisto have been monitoring them.
This paper gives a nice description of such events...I am sure there are others
