Re: Nancay trip report
I really enjoyed browsing through your documentation. I spent some time searching the internet to see if the strange 4 m antennas in front of the common backplane belong to the early Telefunken "Lichtenstein" RADAR and like the "W¨¹rzburg-Riese" parabolic mirror antennas were part of Nancay's legacy from a very dark time. But I found no evidence of this. I wonder what was observed in Nancay in the 4 m band?

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHere's some really weak (low elevation angle) non-Io-A from the 4th.? Better for US west coast / Alaska / Hawaii.-- Dave |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýSabine, you might need to add a couple
more adjectives when describing "the fan heater next door".

Faint Io-A divided into two parts by the nasty fan heater next door.

Nice John, So I guess non-Io-A is a thing these days. About 400kK on your strip chart. I even saw it on the dipole.Jim On Tue, Dec 3, 2024 at 8:14?PM AOL via <Jhcox2000=[email protected]> wrote:

In the overall view, a not very spectacular recording of a non-Io-A event. Only at higher magnification interesting criss-cross patterns between Faraday lanes and ?modulation lanes do become apparent.
