I saw the Io B event in advance but did not bother to observe as it has been my understanding that you cannot pick up a signal from Jupiter while the Sun is in the sky:? the electro-magnetic waves from the Sun is supposed to flood the ionosphere and drown out any signals coming from Jupiter.? Yet Richard was able to pick up Jovian signals during the afternoon.? So I am mistaken, but how?
Hi Richard,
