Hello all,
I owned years ago the OHR 500 (stupidly sold it) but today I got a OHR 100A in mint condition but without any documentation.
Is there a digital version of the manual available? I did not

Re: Honbay trimmers; I took one for the team
Jim,
My wife and I are having the same issues with Amazon so I feel your pain! :(
My last order from Tayda Electronics was the slowest ever.
It took 16 days.
My main strategy to compensate for the

Re: looking for parts polystyrene capacitors
AliExpress has polystyrene capacitors, various values, listed at attractive

Re: Honbay trimmers; I took one for the team
Thanks Dave,
I assume the green paint on the Jameco trimmers is a color code?
On AliExpress I saw ceramic trimmers very similar to the Jameco units at
$1.00 for qty 5 with free shipping and several

Hey Alan,
I haven't ordered from Jameco lately but I have recently had multiple

Re: eBay 330pf mica caps
I received 5 silver mica caps from Aliexpress last week, advertised as "CDE" brand, but who knows? I can't speak to the voltage rating, but they are close enough to 100pF for my use.

Pretty sure these are newly manufactured trimcaps Jim. Man, they are tiny! I got these from Amazon, thanks to your suggestion - and thank you to William K6WHP for the original mention. I don't know if

Welcome John. I have lurked here for many moons and I don¡¯t think I¡¯ve ever posted to the group at large. I got into the hobby late in life but that was 17 years ago. I found that QRP was my

Re: Precision valued parts
1% capacitors are widely available and not that expensive. Ceramic ones are under a dollar on Mouser. 0.1% ones are a specialty item and are a few bucks each.
1% inductors are another story. I think

This version has 3 Sallen-Key stages rather than 2 in the earlier project. Plus there is some filtering in the input stage, but it was not optimized together with the rest of the stages. All this

As my best friend would say Daniel - you do you. We all enjoy this hobby in our own ways. I must admit that on reading someone's blog, if they mention how many hours it took them to build something,

I don't think I ever posted here before. But I too like to build things. Some from scratch. Some from kits. And some from taking existing kits, such as Heathkit (HW-7, HW-8 on the list) completely

Very cool, Mike. Thanks for sharing.
Is the filtering different from the DC receiver AF chain that you posted on
OSHWLab?
I'm going to put this on my "to build" list.
Thanks and 73
