Brian, they are NOT sent out by first class mail in the US.? I can guarantee that. Yours probably is, due to your position, but the rest of us get them by "periodicals" mail and I can send a photo of my envelope if you want proof.

I am confused. Is QQ now available in digital format? I quit subscribing to the print edition because my eyes strain reading small fonts. With a digital magazine I can adjust the magnification to whatever is comfortable. I'll resubscribe if a digital edition is available.

I receive QQ right on time in my email every month from Bill N8ET.? I forward the email directly to my Kindle account.? I can then instantly read it very easily under any light conditions, at any magnification I want, on my Kindle App for Android.? It's wonderful.? It's completely read before the print version arrives.? Highly recommended.
I wish QST would do the same.? Their reader is basically unusable, and I have quit reading that magazine.

We spent about 10 winters in the Phoenix area from mid November to mid April. ?While the USPS will forward first class and above mail for at least 12 months, you can expect a 7 to 12 day delay, sometimes more and now even longer. ?Magazines are forwarded for only 60 days. ?Since we were there for 5 to 6 months each year, we decided to change our mailing address to our place in AZ. ?It was a pain to change all the magazines and bills, but it made a huge difference. ?Two weeks before we left, we changed everything back. ?This ended after we got stuck in AZ for 9 months in 2020 due to Covid (wife refused to stay in hotels on the drive back, so we finally flew home and shipped our car). ? In 2021, we decided to sell our place there. ?Now it would be easier because almost all financial transactions are done online and magazines and newspapers we get are all digital. ?Meds were not a problem as we used a local CVS for short RXs and the military RX at Luke AFB for long term meds.
90% of our regular mail is now spam. ?I have a heavy duty shredder that gets lots of use.
If you need to know why mail takes so long, it’s a result of the now gone Postmaster General Louis DeJoy whose goal was to privatize the USPS. ?Total conflict of interest as he had significant holdings in companies that would profit from the privatization.

We have provided PDF files to our vision impaired subscribers in the
past, and to certain overseas address that were having trouble
getting mail.
Issues ended up in collections on eBay, archive.org, and a few other
places.?
The QRP Quarterly is copyrighted by QRP Amateur Radio Club
International and is the property of QRP Amateur Radio Club
International.
As for a digital version that's not PDF, there is also the access
issue. We don't have any programmers. We barely have a web master.
Note: QRP ARCI does not hold exclusive rights to submitted
articles.? Authors are free to publish anywhere they wish.?

Probably the USPS has not been DODGED yet. ?I bet if you send it via “junk” it would actually get there quicker.
BTW my copy came in today, exactly 18 days……. I ship all over the country at the lowest commercial rate and it arrives within 3-5 days, insured and traceable too! ?Something wrong here.
