Re: FDIM Build-a-Thon Question

Ha!? That's great...? But what's happening is that she's pressing down with so much force that it liquifies the solder.? Gotta be...

I think I'll be okay.? I've been building?since 1965, Heathkits of course, back then.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing everyone at FDIM.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

I would confirm with Rex that he has space reserved for you. In the past, the projects were handed out at the start of the Build-a-thon. Most people bring their own tools, but Rex usually has a few spares. Rex assumes that attendees can spot the problem in this picture:

Hello!

This isn't my first FDIM, but it is my first Build-a-Thon.? So, a couple of questions for those more experienced.
  1. May I assume that I should bring my normal soldering station & various items that I normally use in kit building???
  2. Since I ordered the kit from Rex on his web site some?time ago, may I assume that since it hasn't shown up on my doorstep that it will magically appear at the Build-a-Thon?

Thanks,
Brian
