A terminal strip - very old school. Using an analog meter to test it is karmically correct. Very nice build, not ugly at all.

Hi Brian,
I don't know what's typical.? I'm using a 2N2222A FWIW.? I thought about putting in a transistor socket and trying every NPN transistor in my junk box.? Unfortunately, I'm lazy...

I've accepted the challenge.? Here's my

I'm not sure if this falls into the cute or the ugly
category & glad it doesn't matter.? But that heat sink
is definitely cute.? And the WW2 vintage FT-243 crystal is
likely unique.? With 12 volts it's giving 0.4 watts.? I am
very curious as to how that will compare with the dozens,
maybe hundreds, of MMM rigs that show up at FDIM for the
revival.? I'll bring a few QSL cards in the hope of making
some MMM to MMM?contacts.??
This was fun.
