Let me know how you get on if you get a chance. It certainly works for me.

Interesting trick! I'll have to try that one!
Thanks,

I have a set of those but one of the best ways I have found to give me the
magnification that I need for PCB work is to leave my reading glasses on
and then put on another pair of cheap small reading glasses so that they
cover the lower half of my normal reading glasses. This gives me the
magnification I need and cost next to nothing. (1 or $1 shop for the cheap
2nd pair) A Clocksmith showed me this trick.
If you don't normally use reading glasses, you probably don't need to
magnification but it might be worth trying.

The former low cost Visor Magnifier that I notified everyone about
previously is now available from American Science & Surplus for the low
cost of $7.95 each. I bought one for my grandson and then ordered another
one for me as a back up to take to buildathons..... nothing lost if lost or
given away.
See sciplus.com and go to Headband Magnifying Visor. There is also a
15% discount for signing up with them. What a deal!
I have no affiliation with this company, just a happy purchaser in the
past.
