William,
Does the 4 boot?
The EPROMS in mine have gone flopbot and I was remiss in not having copied them down into a preservation file.
I have no way of inventorying the Kaypro floppies of which I have boxes.
I am interested in a 4 if the shipping's not too dear.
It's a good little machine and I've owned it since it was a newborn pup.

Subject: [qrp-tech] FREE (plus shipping) to a good home: Some KayPro 2s
I note that Chuck is reaching back into antiquity to resurrect an S100 single board or S100 workalike computer. In keeping with that theme and mindful of the nature of this group (i.e., treading very lightly), I have several KayPro 2's (II, 2X, IV if I recall correctly) that I have kept stored in a cool climate and I would be willing to let anyone interested in having them I only ask to be reimbursed for the shipping.
There is a multitude of software that go with these. Includes compilers the CP/M OS disks, MS Word, the obligatory WordStar v3.3, etc. Even games as I recall.
Bottom line is that if there is an interest, I can dig these out and check 'em out and inventory the software, etc.
Let me know.
