Re: Error when startup Qlog v0.40.1

OK...windows...

1) start command line
cmd
2) jump to QLog system dir
cd c:\Program Files\QLog
3) type follow command
set QT_LOGGING_RULES=qlog.core.migration.*=true
4) start qlog with following parameters
qlog.exe > c:\Users\<YOUR_HOME>\debug.txt 2>&1

Please, replace <YOUR_HOME> the folder, where you have your Home dir.

It will generate a debug.txt file in your home directory. Please, send me the file.

Unfortunately, I did not find any issue when I tested this version under Linux and Windows and again I retested this version under Windows from QLog v0.36. So it seems that your database is "unexpectedly" different.

Re: Problems on mac version

Thanks Michael for the prompt reply.
1 - yes, as said the windows are "popped out" for better ergonomics of the monitors
2 - ok with "always" everything ok (sorry I hadn't thought of that)

Re: Problems on mac version

1. Do you have the windows "popped out" from the main app?
2. It looks like you may have HamQTH setup for callsign lookups.? I typically would enter my keychain password and just select 'Always' or it will keep asking for permission to access the password.

Yaesu FTdx10 rig control

Good afternoon.
I have a few questions about controlling the radio Yaesu FTdx10
1. When I control via omnirig1 - CW mode is selected as I like, CW-L, but does not remember the selected filters for the bands. It uses the ones that were on the current band. For example on 40m I have a 12db attenuator on, and on WARC AMP1 a preamplifier. But when I switch bands in QLOG or click on a station in a cluster, my settings on the transceiver are ignored. If I switch the band on the transceiver - everything is fine, the desired settings are enabled.
2. hamlib in QLOG does not work directly at all, it thinks for a long time, then it seems to turn green, but it writes 160m band and AM mode, the radio is not controlled from the program.
When I run hamlib from the command line (¡°C:\Program Files\hamlib-w64-4.5.5.5\bin\rigctld.exe¡± -m 1040 -r COM6 -s 38400 -t 4532), and then in the program select hamlib NET rigctl - it works fine. My range settings are all there when switching in the program. BUT! CW mode always becomes CW-R. I can't find anywhere in Qlog how to set the default CW or CW-R. In other programs there is an option for the desired CW mode, but in Qlog I didn't find it.

Could you please tell me how to solve this? Either configure omnirig to remember my settings for the bands, or configure hamlib to default to CW-L mode

Re: POTA Activators

I saw your wiki the other day and read over it, it looks really well laid out.? The only issue I notice is in the activities editor I didn't have the POTA field available to be chosen in the beginning.? Then I figured it out, but it wasn't super clear so you may want to explain the need to?go and remove it from the details list first.? But other than that It looks great.? The combination of that and the option you add to hide the details will make it much better when portable with my MacBook Air or other devices with smaller screens.

Hi Michael, thanks for feedback. I would love if you could read this proposed wiki entry for guiding users on how to apply QLog to their POTA activations;? your suggestions on improvements would be greatly appreciated.
