Re: Fields Sat Name and SAT Mode locked

Hello,

1) Sat name and sat Mode fields are enabled only in case when the Propagation Mode is set to "Satellite"

2) There was no change related to Antenna profile. I think I will need a more detailed description of what the situation is and how it doesn't work, when it worked, etc.

Ladislav

Re: Spot Last QSO feature

Hi,

I think there was a misunderstanding. The button is used to report the last entered QSO. QSO can be received from WSJT or entered manually. If you import QSOs using an ADIF file, it is not considered the "Last QSO".

The QSO's in question were imported from WSJT (adif) so maybe they have to be entered via the UI for Spot Last QSO to work?

Re: Spot Last QSO feature

Hi,

I just test it and everything works as expected. Apologies to everyone for the self-spotting on DXC.

the idea behind the Spot Last QSO button is that:
1) you enter a new QSO
2) press the button
3) it fills the "Command" for the DX Cluster according to the last QSO
4) here you can add a remark or edit the command
5) press enter.

That is all. The spot will be sent.

Regards
Ladislav

Maybe I'm not using it correctly?

Hi,

Github is the only place to report Tracked issues.
Otherwise, there is a link to it from QLog and it is described?

where is the right place to report issues?

Hello,

Where is the right place to report issues?

I did a pull and build from Github today. QLog 0.35.1, HamLib 4.5.5 on Fedora 40.

I am trying to set up my rig, I set it to use network and enter a DNS name (that does resolve) and after I save that data and return to the rig dialog, the rig is set to serial.

There are some other oddities around the rig setup.? After pressing "save" the rig profile name disappears (there was data in there, press save or modify, the data disappears), the host name similarly disappears.? If I click on the profile name (left column) then those fields appear again.

Thanks, 73,

Jeff n1kdo

I have different profiles for special stations and rigs, and the profiles are very useful.

Another question is how add a QSO from QO-100 from JTDX via UDP, I use a special version? made for QO-100 that add the correct offset in the ADIF when using in SDRConsole.

The ADIF are written correctly in the ADIF that generate JTDX but when JTDX send to the UDP Qlog only register the RX band as TX (3cm)

<call:6>EA5DHO <gridsquare:4>JN46 <mode:3>FT8 <rst_sent:3>-15 <rst_rcvd:3>-15 <qso_date:8>20240509 <time_on:6>230450 <qso_date_off:8>20240509 <time_off:6>230450 <band:4>13cm <freq:11>2400.040997 <band_rx:3>3cm <freq_rx:12>10489.540997 <prop_mode:3>SAT <sat_mode:2>SX <sat_name:6>QO-100 <station_callsign:5>EA5SW <my_gridsquare:6>IM99hf <eor>

I'm using QLOG with 4 different radios using the "My station" profiles and there really are just a few little things left that make it even more useful than it already is.

Re: 0.35 - CW Console

Interesting.

I'm using a K3NG arduino keyer which runs the winkeyer protocol.

I've run it using the winkey setting in Qlog on both Linux and Windows without any issues.

Many thanks for feedback.

It's still not perfect. The CW buffer size limitation in Hamlib makes me very frustrated. It's implemented in a strange way in Hamlib; each radio has its limitations defined differently. To the end user of QLog, it might seem like a bug in QLog. However, it works fine with other keyers.
