Re: Log location

As Michael mentioned, it is described on the WIKI but there is also one important note:

Please keep in mind that currently the DB file and the configuration file are an indivisible pair. It means that it is not possible to transfer only DB files between computers.

If you divide these two things then unpredictable things can happen.

This is very much a do so at your own risk.? But here is a page showing the path for the database files: ?

You can create a symbolic link and point it to Dropbox.? I have done so to bounce between different Macs and Windows devices with Dropbox.? Works really well, although one time I did mess up and I caused my database to be corrupted so had to roll it back in Dropbox.? Didn¡¯t loose any QSOs or anything but it was an issue.? So like I said do so knowing it could cause a problem.? Also you cannot have the database open on two different computers at the same time.

I use qlog in both Windows and Linux. I would like to place my log in a Dropbox file, so the same file could be used from either OS. I'm not sure where the log file is located on my computer, and what other files would be necessary. Is it possible to do this?
