Fox - Teams latest

Hello everyone - at this point in time we have 4 teams cleaning out their
musket barrels for the winter hunt - the CHOSEN ONES, the CHEESEHEADS [pse
email me a list of names & calls], the RAIDERS OF THE LOST RF and the NE-TX
TORNADOS who will have their team roster completed shortly -
- I also have Bob, K3PH, standing by to join a team and Bob has an excellent
record for bagging the foxii -
- we've had up to 20 teams some years so spread the word around, form a team
and get ready for "barrels" of FUN! - there are two beautiful plaques
waiting to have your names & calls engraved on it with presentation made at
FDIM each year, one plaque for the highest number of foxii bagged and a
second plaque for the most Clean Sweeps -
- you have until the start of the second hunt to get your team information
in to me - 72 Bruce.

Did you really wear that licent plate on FYBO, or was that just for the pic?

Always a real treat to hear your 3W/PM sigs in there.

Hi LL,
Some guy crashed my car that week, so the license plate was just sitting
around after i scrapped my car.
i wanted to be 'street legal' mobile. Everything but the tail light.

Winter Fox Hunt

Hello everyone -
We're not too far away from another fun winter fox hunt on 40
mtrs - Assuming that there will be a hunt starting in October, I am calling
for the Teams to gather once again and to let me know the Team names along
with the operators' names and call letters - I'll accept Team entries up to
the beginning of the second hunt as usual -
- I'm also calling for operators for the "Raiders of the Lost RF" - the
Raiders have Fred, VE3CLS, so far on their roster - 72 Bruce.

I live in S.E. Nebraska, but used to live in Colorado and befor that Illinois.? The leaves here are nothing compared to the hardwood forests where you are headed.? I think that you will like what you see.? Autumn is quite an interesting season.

Steve,
?
What state do you live in? Having lived in the SW nearly all my life I haven't ever seen a colorful fall. We?have the Aspens up in the mountains and few other trees that change colors, but mostly the trees up there are evergreens;?Ponderosa pine, Apache pine and Douglas fir.
?
I am headed to Cleveland in the first week of October maybe I'll get to see some color there. Thanks for sharing.

LLoyd asked if I was a member of this list. I joined a couple of
weeks ago but hadn't made a post yet, so here's the first.

Many thanx to all the Foxii for a great hunting season. I (we)
appreciate your dedication, skill, comraderie and are anticipating a
FB fall/Winter season on 40M.. Fox hunting has become one of my top
operating activities. I really hate to miss a Thursday....
