Hi Fritz.? Thank you.? I wish more Foxii would follow that procedure.? A lot of times the Fox is sending a report and I¡¯m sitting there wondering? ¡.? Who the hell did he come back to?
I¡¯ll be the other fox tonight along with WX2S. Look for me to be handing out pelts from Dublin VA, between 0200 and 0330Z and between 3550 and 3570 kHz. I¡¯ll be running a Kenwood TS-590SG tuned down to 5W into a Steppir DB36 ¡°short¡± dipole up about 75 ft. I will be posting dots to my map () so you can check your QSO there.
?
You know the drill, UP means I¡¯m not listening on my freq but anywhere from 0.5 to 1.5 kHz above my freq.
No UP means I¡¯m listening around my freq.
Also, I start the QSO by sending your call and then sending it again after the exchange, so there should be no confusion of who I¡¯m QSOing ¡ unless I¡¯m so weak & you have to guess what I¡¯m sending ¡ been there, done that ¡ if that¡¯s the case a simple ¡°?¡± is all you need to send. That way, if it¡¯s not you then you won¡¯t run the risk of sending your call on top of the person I am QSOing.

Last time I was a fox in Jan, things were hectic for the first 30 mins or so, then it seemed more like Sunday afternoon in a big contest, i.e., not much going on.
