FWIW, the maps do not bother me in the least.? I do look at your maps sometimes, and I know some value your maps highly.? I do check the FRITZ map when I hunt.? And especially if conditions are poor, I really look to the Fritz map as a final check.?
I have to say recently this group seems to be getting a little more contentious and I¡¯ve been participating less.? It¡¯s a hobby.? It¡¯s a game.? But some are so intense they feel they need to chastise others over perceived infractions. Other than ground combat ¨C I hope I¡¯m never so intensely wrapped up in anything.? Operators are only human.? They forget to split.? It gets frustrating, but I live in a glass house some days as well.? I¡¯ve forgotten to hit the SPLIT button myself, and when I hear someone send UP I¡¯ll always look to see if it is me!? Usually it is not.? But every now and then¡¡¡¡.
And my wonderful ICOM radio in full break-in hears very well between characters¡. I can send K D 5 and if the FOX starts to send I hear it and stop.? I never use the call memory, I send it by hand each time so I can stop if I hear the FOX.? BUT¡¡ so I call, pause a fraction, call, pause a fraction, call, pause a fraction, call¡¡ and to some it may appear I¡¯m calling continuously.? How cool is it that someone 1000-miles away can tell how my receiver works.? It makes me grin, and then go find something else to do.? It just isn¡¯t that important.
I say keep doing your maps.? And thank you for what you do.? Some find it helpful.? Is there anyone paying for E-mail by the message anymore?

I've continued to distribute a version of those maps, due to a couple of comments (admittedly, not any lately), that people like the "blown up" versions of the Fritz map.? They apparently view such maps on their cell phones, and find the larger dots I produce easier to interpret. But for these, and for any of the maps, I'm happy to discontinue sending them out if people so desire.? They do contribute to the bandwidth, and should not be clogging up the pipe if they aren't needed. a^2 + b^2 = c^2
