¿ªÔÆÌåÓýGang,
?
It's been a long, horrible experience trying to
wrest the domain name
from , and???
but persistence (and ICANN rules) has paid off.
Although BulkRegister was very
cooperative CHISP and peakpeak were completely
unresponsive because they
were involved in a local merger - my recommendation
is that neither ever be used
for any of your web hosting needs but that's just
an opinion!
?
I've been able to move the domain name, along with all of the
QRP
Fox Hunt web pages, over to our new web host at
Parcom.net
?
It can take over four days for these pages to
propagate through the numerous
domain name servers around the world. For example,
Saturday evening, as I write
this, folks in southern California are seeing the
regular ol' Colorado QRP Club
website when they type into their browsers.
?
In other places, like Denver, Colorado, folks are
seeing ABC Airport Shuttle
Service when they attempt the same URL - this error is due to
cqc
no longer existing on the previous host's servers
so his system is defaulting to
his first client in the alphabet (I think that's
what's happening, anyway).
?
So, to make a long boring story short, all of CQC's
web pages, including the
QRP Fox Hunt stuff, should be up and viewable for
the entire planet by Wednesday.
?
I appreciate everyone's patience in this
matter!
?
72s,
?
