Hi Gang,
I'll be one of the Foxii tomorrow - Rig will be an
Elecraft K2 set to
exactly 5 watts with an Oak Hills Research WM2
wattmeter into a B & W BWD-90
folded dipole with the apex up 35 feet. As per usual,
I'll call CQ FOX on a
frequency somewhere between 7.030 and 7.050, and for
the major portion of
the hunt I will be listening 1-2 KHz UP from my
transmit frequency. I will
listen for stations on my transmit frequency
periodically and will so
announce it. Those who are capable of operating
split, please refrain from
calling me during those times to give the guys and
gals that don't have RIT
or split capability a chance. May the propagation
gods smile on your
hunting.
