It was an idea that intrigued me but I do not want to infringe or
interfere with any existing activity or name, or outrage any animal
protection groups. The "WAS 50 in 50" kind of died a quick death,
but it was an fun idea. This type of contest would take either 25
or 50 weeks to complete. If we add in the Canadian provinces, that
would add additional weeks.
I'll put a feeler out on QRP-L to see how many "bites" I get. I
won't take up any additional bandwidth here

Here's a thought for a future series of foxhunts.
If you did a 25
week+ season or combination of 2 sessions (summer
and winter), get
Fox volunteers from each state
Interesting idea!
Please feel free to create an event like this one!
It won't be a QRP Fox Hunt, of course, since there
already is one of those...but if one or more of you
have a good idea for an event, and the time to
organize and run it, go for it!
In Colorado, they have the Snowshoe Run, the Pesky
Texans have an Armadillo Chase...we Barbers even have
a QRP Barbershop Contest. The more the merrier, says
I.
