Just a heads-up in case anyone hasn¡¯t seen the news. A supernova exploded in M101 three days ago and is rapidly brightening. I captured it last night from my backyard in Alta Vista, in EAA style. M101 is favourably placed in the sky right now and the SN is easy to capture ¡ª not sure what it¡¯s like visually though¡
