Whilst on the subject of L&BR Carriages, can anybody give me some pointers as to where I can buy the following coloured paints, for the L&BR Liveries shown in the instructions, I am interested in getting hold of;
L&BR Coach Salmon,
L&BR Coach Chestnut,
L&BR Coach Ivory and,
L&BR Coach Crimson
What I am intending is to build my carriage stock to represent the line as at opening in 1898, and also to represent the L&BR post 1903, the only mistake the L&BR Trust has made with their carriages is that they have been painted in the later Crimson and Ivory livery and yet they carry the circlets that were carried with the Chestnut and Salmon livery, I wonder if there is an intention of returning carriages in Southern Railway livery owing to the fact that the replica of Lyn is in this livery.
