As some of you will know there have been many problems with Yahoo Groups over the last few years. In the last few months many Yahoo groups have transferred over to Groups.io which provides a modern web interface as well as email posting and delivery. The transfer process is largely automatic and will take all the posts, files and membership details over. There will be little impact for members apart from a new email address for the group - members may need to setup a password to use the web interface.?
Here is an example of a group that recently swapped over: - the old Yahoo group remains but the ability to submit posts has been stopped - we would do the same.
The moderators can initiate the transfer but we would like the opinion of you as group members. Please vote in the poll - and also whether you primarily use web or email to read and send posts.
