Now, a possible solution - split it up a bit. I have no mailman experience, but I do have a VPS with disk, CPU and bandwidth to spare, so with assistance on the setup I would be happy to provide a mirror.?
I still feel that the Google Group with multiple private mirrors is simplest, though. ?
Here I'm with you, at least as far as Neonixie goes. I do happen to like forum, for certain topics -- things I am actively pursuing, so I have a drive to go out and search down the information I need. The beauty of Neonixie, for me, is that I'm not really pursuing electronics right now -- but getting this stream of informative emails is a steady nagging force - I think I learn a lot, and someday I'll get around to applying it.?
Google Groups does a good job of keeping the list format though, while still providing a forum-like web interface. Ben |
