That's probably because your email address on the Yahoo list is given as joe [at] croftj.net. Any attempt to post to the Yahoo group from an email address that isn't associated with a user in the Yahoo member list will be rejected, because we allow posts only from members (groups that allow posts by "anyone" have a huge spam problem).
