Re: Tx port input resistors blown
Hi Jim, Thanks for feedback, The values on mine are slightly different, two of them were burned so bad as I can?t read the values so I am going to get the replacement values as per the schematic you

Re: Tx port input resistors blown
Hi Roger, the model is "NanoVNA" No -H or any other suffixes I bought it in May of 2021 A link to it below https://www.amazon.es/dp/B07TKM7748?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details regards, Shane

Upgrade of older VNA
Howdy; Got time to work with some of the toys I got in the past. I have an older NanoVNA I bought some time ago and decided to learn how to operate using a book on Amazon on VNA operation. Learning

Re: Android NanoVNA app
Thanks, Gyula. I use my NanoVNAs with the nanosaver and NanoVNA-App apps on my PCs, with no problems. I just want to be able to go back to using them with my 'phone. I am sure that the Linux users

Re: Start/stop points for HF SWR measurement
Sorry, I wasn't clear: the SD card receiver (slot hardware) may be installed on the motherboard inside the plastic case, depending on the date of manufacture of your board (some early boards didn't

Re: Start/stop points for HF SWR measurement
Yes, I had separate memories for each band since I was using it to check a magnetic loop antenna. The tuning of which is rather tricky. I might combine, say, two bands within a 4 MHz span and see how

Re: Start/stop points for HF SWR measurement
But for the calibration - you shouldn't have any resonances in the cal, so as long as the linear interpolation gives good results, the number of points isn't a real driver. Two cases where there is a

Re: Tx port input resistors blown
On my schematic (Nanovna-H, 3.4.2) the CH1 pad is 56 ohms shunt, 240 ohms series, 49.9 shunt The bridge on CH0 is all 49.9 with 200 ohms across the middle. with the balanced input to the detector

Re: NanoVNA H4 Works Just Like It Should - Maybe Found Problem With Old Non-H
The non-H was the sandwich construction. Nothing to interfere with the plastic body. If there was a restriction it was inside the device connector.

Re: NanoVNA H4 Works Just Like It Should - Maybe Found Problem With Old Non-H
Sometimes you have to slice off a little of the plastic from around the plug and/or from around the receptacle to get fully seated. 73, Don N2VGU

Re: Start/stop points for HF SWR measurement
One problem with using a very wide sweep is that you may miss a narrow resonance. For 101 points from 100kHz to 30MHz the steps are 300kHz, wider than some ham bands. Doing a calibration is not unduly

Tx port input resistors blown
Been using the nanovna for just about 2 years with no problems. Today I fried a few resistors on the tx port. The schematic values dont match up with what is used in my nanovna. Mine uses 68 ohms
