Re: Clock Generator Si5351at 24MHz
Good point! I didn't think about the possibility that a 24Mhz OSC would reduce the phase noise.

Re: SYSJOINT NanoVNA-F V2
I am just trying to tag along bon this thread to see if I can get some help. I have the -H version and I have no idea if I should update it or not. I can't find the information on what the latest

Re: Calibration question
I would first calibrate the usual way I've without the cable. Then I I'll run a sweep with the cable and the calibration loads at the antenna end. This way I will be able to detect at which

Re: Clock Generator Si5351at 24MHz
It's worth noting that the Si5351 and it's Mstar clone will happily work with clock frequencies well beyond the 24-27 MHz range stated in the data sheet. For example, it's used in a number of

Re: SYSJOINT NanoVNA-F V2
Thank You Raymond, I thing I tried everything properly but I will go over again and again to make sure, what is disturbing it U Disk is not showing on the desktop in the file explorer, Again I will

Re: Calibration question
The problem for a beginner compared to the explanations is that a coaxial cable has two ends. It is necessary to specify which one: the furthest from Nanao-VNA. -- F1AMM Fran?ois

Re: Calibration question
Correction: For the isolation calibration step, the 50 ohm load should be on the S21 port. If you have two of them, you can also put one on the S11 port. And as for directly on the ports vs at the

Re: SYSJOINT NanoVNA-F V2
That's a pity and discouraging. Silly question: You are sure you pressed the button (and it made its contact) while switching on? Unfortunately, I can't really suggest anything else, except searching

Re: Calibration question
Ideally there would be a 50 ohm load attached to both ports for the isolation test. If you don't have two, it should go on port 1, and in practice that will be good enough. For the second question,

Re: SYSJOINT NanoVNA-F V2
Yeah, page 39 of the PDF file, page 37 of the manual: Chapter "8. Firmware Upgrade". I think you mentioned that you tried an upgrade but it failed? Could you see communication between PC and NanoVNA

Re: SYSJOINT NanoVNA-F V2
Hi Again, Actually, the firmware upgrade info is on page 37. Also, what version of firmware do you currently have? If it is lower than v0.2.0 you must upgrade to v0.2.0 first. See note on page 38. I

Hi, Suspect you may have a faulty USB cable or a charging only cable. Here is the link to the Sysjoint manual.

Re: Question on remote use of NanoVNA
Andrew, I also found that there are apps you can download to your android phone to use it as a stand-alone local network hotspot (with or without any connection to the internet). No sim card needed. I
