H4 Shielding?
Hi my learned peers,
I always extol the great potential and usability of my vna whenever I talk about it, absolutely love it, so much so that when an H4 came up in an estate sale I jumped on it before

Re: New member question

I have the H4 from DSlord and am very happy with it. I typically use it in
the yard for antenna building and test, and have used it at field day for
tweaking wire antennas.
As mentioned, Dslord does

Re: Driver for nanVNA
Depends on which model of NanoVNA that you own. Most of them will automatically install in Windows 10/11. If not present as a COM port in Device manager then do a manual Windows update with the

Driver for nanVNA
I have just purchased a new nanoVNA. I have Windows 10 on my laptop and have downloaded nanovna saver ver. 0.2.2.-1. What driver should I install to establish a USB connection to a port on the PC?

I have found I cannot connect to deepelec.com when I am using my Virtual Private Network. When I turn off

Re: Anything for Windows 7?
I think a large part of my problems comes from too many versions of HW and SW. I have 3 different NanoVnas and Win7 and 10. I have been lazy in handling different versions.
I use only NanoVna V2

This shows what calculated resistance looks like when not restricted to positive numbers. |S11| > 1 has real consequences. For now the best strategy seems to be to multiply the real and imaginary

Re: Accuracy
Larry, AE5CZ, sent me files from a DeepVNA 101 attached to a 12" ground probe. The first three plots are with the probe rods in air. You do this to determine the compensation for the capacitance

I think it's "release 85"
it's on the splash screen when it starts up.
