Re: Anything for Windows 7?
I think a large part of my problems comes from too many versions of HW and SW. I have 3 different NanoVnas and Win7 and 10. I have been lazy in handling different versions. I use only NanoVna V2 Plus4

Re: Accuracy
This shows what calculated resistance looks like when not restricted to positive numbers. |S11| > 1 has real consequences. For now the best strategy seems to be to multiply the real and imaginary

Re: Accuracy
Larry, AE5CZ, sent me files from a DeepVNA 101 attached to a 12" ground probe. The first three plots are with the probe rods in air. You do this to determine the compensation for the capacitance

I think it's "release 85" it's on the splash screen when it starts up. It might be something in the Windows image that Parallels uses

One thing I discovered is that my USB-C OTG cable at the phone end would work when inserted one way, as OTG but if I rotated it 180 degrees it wouldn't work as OTG. I assume the cable was not

I managed to get the hang with it, and carried on with the next few demo practices. The key thing to make it look similar to what the board is showing was, to manipulate with the frequency settings,

It happens in certain selections in the menu. I cannot recall which selection it was now. I will make note of that, and update here next time when it happens. But it sounds like it is not some serious

One more vote for The NanoVNA-V2plus4. I have two earlier models, but I use this model. It doesn't cost too much. There are models for 6GHz if you want the ultimate performance, but they cost more.
