OK, I found the download for 0.5.5. It appears that when I load an

Can someone please post a specific link to that and not just github that appears for developers. Fred N4CLA On Mon, Jun 5, 2023 at 10:01?PM Anne Ranch <anneranch2442@...> wrote:

Re: Your NanoVNA version
I would recommend using it as-is for awhile without upgrading the firmware,
just to avoid another unknown until you are familiar with the device. The 1.1 firmware is solid and works fine for all of the features it has. The current 1.2..20 release firmware has new features (additional display formats, more SD card functionality, etc.), but the major vna functions for testing antennas and cables are the same in both versions. I have a question. Can i have more than one version of nanovna-saver like
0.4.0 and 0.5.0 installed on the same system at the same time? Yes, but..., If you run Linux , as I do, and do not want to spent time RTFM it helps to have some knowledge on how to navigate Linux files are familiar with "executing" Linux commands have some knowledge about git cloning have some knowledge on how to "execute " Python (source ) code I just did all that and so far "no smoke". I would be more than happy to lead you thru this exercise.... |

Re: Your NanoVNA version
Read the tutorial in the files section, fairly easy to do it and
no need to worry about bricking the device, practically impossible to do that. Make sure that you select the H and not H4 version. On Tue, 6 Jun 2023 at 02:07, RJOLLIS via groups.io <rjollis= [email protected]> wrote: Thanks for the link, Dragan. It looks like there's been two releases since |

Re: NanoVNA Saver Error Message
Hi Wes,
Not necessarily a solution, but the latest version of NanoVNA Saver is version 0.5.5 dated 05-Mar-2023. Your Version 0.3.9 is dated 03-Apr-2022, and there have been at least four revision between your 0.3.9 and the current 0.5.5. Here¡¯s a link to download the latest, and earlier, versions of NnaoVNA Saver: Might be worth a try to see if a newer version helps. Good luck. I am using the NanoVNa to evaluate an RF amplifier sweeping the 1 MHz to 30 MHz range. The soldering on the SMA connecteros looks a bit rough but that'#s about
it, the rest looks good, they've gone to the trouble of a plug n socket for the battery, the shields look well made and fitted, I'd be happy enough with the construction quality it if I'd bought it, if I'd got it for free then I'd be really happy. Definitely worth spending some time to test but I have a feeling it'll be OK. If you've a 3d printer or a friend with one then there's a few models for enclosures on Thingiverse.
