It does indeed look respectable. But then who knows what's under the
shields ;). On your encouragement I'll work to find some DUTs to measure.
Having been out of the field for a long time, I don't have a junk box to
tap into. But I suppose I can look for some parts to use as a reference at
my local electronics store that I can use to make some things to increase
my confidence. I can also cross reference my existing antenna SWR, coax
length etc.

I will need to do more research on the FW updating procedure. I know that
there's a wiki for that. It seems to have 1.1 software dated 21 December
2021, but the sub-version is not specified on the config screen. Maybe I'll
be lucky with the latest? Off the top of your head, what is the latest?

Somebody told me that there is an enclosure that one can find on eBay. If
this device plays well, I'll buy the accessory. Don't like the fact that
the boards are exposed.
