I had an order delayed for a couple of weeks on Aliexpress due to using an extended ZIP+4 code (five digits of the ZIP Code + a hyphen and four digits). As long as the extended zip code has been in use in the U.S. you would think it wouldn't cause any problems, but I had to change to a five digit zip code to complete my order.
