did you ever get permission from the author for those modifications? Does
the application have a license?
There may be some code or ideas that I could use for my application, but I
haven't looked yet as it's been unclear what license it was under. Hugen
indicated earlier that he did not want it to be Open Source, but that was
some months ago.
