I mirror your Dollar Tree experience.Got several? C's when they first came out, still using them, no issues.Also have several Cigar Lighter to USB power supplies for the cars.Have worked for years.

sport two USB charging ports. My daughter and family use Apple devices and

These cables had well molded strain reliefs at both ends and fabric braid
over the cable. They have been working great for the past few months and my
SIL also uses them on his USB-C gadgets. The only negative is the length -
just 1 meter.
Impressed by how well they worked, I went to a couple different Dollar Tree
stores by my SIL and near home and could not find them again anywhere.
