The down side is the larger the VNA the less it is portable.
The original was designed so one could slip it in a shirt or pants pocket. Making it usable on a roof or tower. If you are using it in a shop or Shack, you could have one the size of my 82 inch TV. All though I could feed the video out of my laptop to the TV.
I myself, even at 78 and needing reading glasses, wanted one for what it was originally designed for.
That is, conveniently portable.
So each their own.
I wouldn't buy a duce and half for what a light weight pickup could due.
