With 300 mW of FM on 70 cm, I can put a good signal into a repeater 50 miles from me.

My venerable MFJ-259B antenna analyzer puts out ~8mW. I get a 200mV peak to peak square wave out of my V2Plus4 into 50ohm. I believe that corresponds to ~140uW in the fundamental and ~15uW in the 3rd harmonic. For me, that's low enough to not be concerned about for the typical intermittent use tuning antennas.

With either, I do not ID when adjusting/tuning the antenna. If I use >/=100mW, I'll ID.
