Hi Larry,
Do you know the reason why the program is updated no more ?
It's such a pity.

Hi Ian,
I just fired-up 1.1.206 and there are no asterisk or TCP-IP fields.
Can you post a screen capture of the window?
The only item that looks like an asterisk if the gear symbol for settings, but that is just to the right of the serial speed field.
CW mode is exactly what is infers - Continuous Wave? (ie: a single freq - no sweeping)
As for the marker issue, the application (which is private and NOT open-source) is no longer being updated regularly so you may want to send a private message to OneOfEleven with a polite request if a marker data display switch could be added.
Unfortunately, OneOfEleven never created a user guide for her application as it was originally meant for her personal use but graciously shared it with the community. There are a few quirks but all in all, it's a great application.
Please go through the forum's WIKI and Files sections (links at the bottom of every email) and browse the various user guides for more info on the technical terms.
Cheers,Larry

Hi,
There are a few features of the nanoVNA-App Program that I need help with please. I am using a nanoVNA-H with Dislord 1.0.53 software, nanoVNA-App v 1.1.206 by OneofEleven, on a Surface Pro running up-to-date Windows 10.? nanoVNA is calibrated etc..? I can do the 'basics'.
1.? What are the blank fields top left "TCP IP address" and "TCP IP Port"??
2. What is the Asterisk symbol in button below "Connected" top left??
3.? What is the significance/use of the CW mode??
4. On my Smith Chart S11, the Marker information covers quite a bit of the Chart. I can delete these Markers completely ... is there anyway to clear out the Marker info, but keep the Marker icons??
