Shorting the BOOT to VDD and turning it on, then removing the short, puts the VNA in DFU mode. when in DFU mode the screen is suppose to be white.
you might try connecting the VNA to your computer, run the DFU programming program, load the latest firmware, When done, turn the VNA off then back on. see if it boots correctly. if not the VNA seems to be stuck in DFU mode or you have a bad solder joint or bad solder joint in the display circuit.
There has been a few reports of bad solder connections where the cable from the display and PC board.
