Mel,
If you turn on your Nanovna and connect it to a Windows PC, do you hear the usual tones to know that the PC recognised a usb device?
When you turn your Nanovna on, do you see one LED flashing?
Have you tried running it when plugged in to your PC?

Hi Mel, the connections in question can be identified as follows:

1. Once the unit is opened up, turn it over so the screen is down, with the
controls at the top.

2. On the left side you see a row of connections.

3. The top and second connections are the ones which when connected to a
pushbutton switch,
allows one to push the switch while turning on and thus get the white
screen.

4. It occurred to me that could be where a short would cause that symptom.

5. If you don't measure a short across those to connections, the problem
very likely lies elsewhere.

Hope this helps.

Stefan.

Anyone got a R and Voltage diagram?
