Re: New User - Where to find VSWR, Z, R, X and L for an Antenna?

Hi Phil,
If you decide to flash or even backup your current installed FW, after you install the DeFuSe utility (assuming your using Windows) replace the DeFuSe.exe with the version I modified in the forum files section.?
I renamed several functions to make them sound more logical to the end-user.?
/g/nanovna-users/files/Miscellaneous/DfuSe%20GUI%20mod.zip
Also, if I remember right, you can play the Dutch YouTube video, turn on captioning and do a live translation on the subtitles.?
... Larry

Once again thank you for you kind replies.

Jerry suffice to say you are probably quite right, what I have works when I find a problem (other than where to get the parameters I was looking for) then maybe a firmware change would be worth the risk and effort.? That seems to be the thing, the Nano's are probably considered 'expendable' by many due to their low cost.

Larry ok on the firmware flash software etc.? I'll keep it in mind but chasing those things means losing sight of the OCF antenna I've made and sorting that which what got me to buy the Nano in the first instance.

Luc I will take a look at the links you have provided I hope they will help me locate the parameters I'm looking for to help diagnose the antenna :) we'll see.? Right at the moment tuning the 80m OCF is being a bit of an issue, whether it be the balun I made or issues with flex-weave used for the dipole elements.

Thank you all.
