Someone recently did the same thing on the tinySA forum. This from moderator:
switch off the nanoVNA
Open the case
Connect BOOT0 with VDD pin
switch on the nanoVNA
wait 5 seconds
remove the connection
update firmware
This is how everyone updated their firmware when the NanoVNA was first released.
