The issue was described as sometimes the user gets a white screen and sometimes the unit displays everything correctly on the LCD.
Several forum members and I had a similar experience and resoldering the flex fixed the problem.

I seem to recall some posts where the firmware was not installed correctly or the unit was in DFU mode and the NanoVNA had a white screen.? Jumpering the pins to DFU mode and reinstalling firmware solved the problem.
