I'm glad that you think so. Then I will tell you now that the programs are usually written on English language operating systems. While there are operating systems with language modules where the use of dot and comma is reversed (compared to English). The decimal point or point / place value is a point or space or comma. You use often use periods and commas in data files. Changing the input language is not the same as changing the operating language module.
So this is not the first time that the data file has caused confusion in the operation of the program.
If you have this native language or your machine is English (international) installed, you won't even notice it. So you can be terrified of it.
