One quick correction. If you Recall0 from the app the legend on the device will change from ¡°C0¡± to ¡°c*¡± indicating it is no longer internally calibrated.

I am not sure this has been noted before and if it has I apologize.
I have noted that the calibration values saved and recalled in locations 0-4 are different on the app than on the device. In other words, you can calibrate and Save0 on the device with one set of parameters and do a completely different calibration on the app for Save0. The two calibrations are independent of each other.
If you then turn the device off and on you will see a "C0" value on the left side of the screen indicating you are fully calibrated for the range you are using. However, if you then Recall0 on the app, the device legend will change to "c0" indicating it is no longer internally calibrated and whatever values were saved in Recall0 on the app will be invoked. If you had performed and saved a valid calibration on the app for Save0 then the readouts will be valid but it will not indicate valid calibration.
If you use app calibrations you must use SOLIT as noted in an earlier post because the "Reset" command does not appear on the app but is embedded in the "Short" routine. I have found that calibrating via the app using SOLIT provides equivalent results to "Reset" - OSLIT calibrations on the device itself.
