What I have not seen up to now is a *permission* problem fix with the access to the USB serial port (nanoVNA).
What to do:
# Add user to group dialout, for USB-Serial access.
$ sudo usermod -a -G dialout <user name>
# Reboot
$ groups
rudi adm dialout cdrom sudo dip plugdev lpadmin lxd sambashare vboxsf
# "dialout" must show up in the list.
