I purchased mine from AURSINC Vector Network Analyzer a year ago. Either I got lucky, or they are a legit outlet. I subsequently "discovered" these lists, and, based on material here, I then ordered a "legit" -H and -F (different sources). Excellent service from June et al. I disassembled both -H and compared...ISTR that I posted images here. I could not see a significant difference twixt the two, and there is no reason why I could not have bought a legit item from a dealer who was reselling legit items. Dunno. Happy w products.

It seems that the routine failure rate for just about everything these days is at least 5% right out of the box|door, and other failures (fittings, knobs, etc.) add a few more percent. It's funny in a way, because I used to look forward to the time when manufacturing had progressed to the point where nearly everything would be nearly flawless (which I know, from running my own company, is possible), but instead it seems that we have sort of regressed. It may be a side effect of "consumer-oriented" economics, rather than "environment- and quality of life-driven" economics. It seems that many buyers now are content to buy something cheaply made, and toss it, neglectful of the environmental impact. Growing up in Maine, and watching the slow, steady decline of the environment there made me very aware that my grandchildren would not see the same world that I was raised in. LT: I was raised in northern Maine, moved south many years ago, and settled on the banks of the Piscataqua in Eliot. I did a research project on local history while I was there, and decided that I wanted to keep the name active, so I adopted the tag line. Now I live in NH, and can't see the Piscataqua from here :-), but still will always keep the line. Nice to meet you! On 2020-05-18 06:34:-0700, you wrote:
I purchased my vna-h from Amazon prime. About 70 usd. Fulfilled by seesii , which when googled seems to be a U.S. outlet for alibaba. It came in the nice gold lettered box with all the accessories and seems to work fine. --
