An observation was made a while ago on this list that some of the discussion had descended into what the poster considered a bit abstruse for more general readers.
I'd like to insert the observation that those of us with hay in our hair have been granted what amounts to a seat in a fourth year seminar room. We can absorb what we can, chaps. Since there's no exam bearing down on us, take what you like and skip over the rest!
