If you're thinking of migrating your ham shack computer over to using Linux, you may want to look at Clear Linux from INTEL.
A number of forum members already use Linux to run Nanovna-Saver and to flash new firmware to the Nanovna.
There is a lot of good configuration information in the forum WIKI and FILES area that pertains to using Linux and the Nanovna through various utilities.
Refer to the various links within the Forbe's article for more information as I have not looked into this at this time.
