Art W3WR and I were talking about CW at the Greenwood Hamfest Saturday. I mentioned Burton KY4ID had recently told the Swamp Fox Contest Group his amazing CW journey and that I would send it to Art. Burton (he goes by both Burton and Mike) has gone from basically ground zero to winning last years Georgia QSO party CW category in about a year. Decided to share the info here on the reflector in case others might be interested. I've also included a second article on the topic. These are both articles from recent editions of the Swamp Fox Contest Group's newsletter. Not surprisingly, being for that group KY4ID's is slanted towards contesting. Even so, it is so full of useful information that can help those just starting out in CW and those wishing to improve.

I'll attach two PDF's to this email. If they don't get through the reflector filters I'll try and put them in the file section, but files go through fine on other sites so they should come through okay.
