Rare 'backward' sunspot could create supercharged auroras this week


 

We had a fun discussion on the effects of coronal mass ejections (CMEs) and sunspots on propagation--and the aurora borealis--on this week's 285 Tech Connect net.?

I came across this fascinating article which describes a rare reverse polarity sunspot that could create some crazy auroras....and no doubt will affect prop as well.?
