Re: Super Quick Test of the Quisk 4.2.35
开云体育
Hi Jim,
It probably is an installation problem.? Before your recent work on Quisk, I had a fork that I was adding my radio things to.? I went through the procedure to update it with git from your repository.? (That is how I have your latest version.)? Here is a link
to my fork.?
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Rob

This looks like an installation problem. Be sure you are using the latest Quisk. Jim N2ADR |

Hi group,
I've struggled to understand how to set up Fldigi to work with Quisk for a long time but have it set up correctly now. I have therefore written a step by step manual so it also might help others: 73 Michael, DK1MI/N1BSD |

Here is another thing that might be important.? When I quit Quisk, this message came up:

So I got to play again this morning for a few minutes.? I discovered the correction box disappeared because I deselected the sound card as where the RX I and Q data were coming from.? Today I reselected it, but nothing I adjusted had any effect when I adjusted
them in the adjustments window.? My radio gets its data over UDP from an onboard ADC.? It has the I and Q balance problems as if I was using a sound card, but I can't adjust anything.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for providing this.? I had to stop playing radio and do some more pressing duties starting about a month ago, so I haven't made any progress since then on my radio.? I still haven't been able to spend much time, but I wanted to test your new version
of Quisk out at least a little.? I was able to open it up and find the new RX and TX Phase adjustments.? I opened the new adjustment window, and played a little.? I wanted to close the window for phase adjustment and found no close box, so I thought maybe
I needed to toggle the RX Phase, but it didn't do anything.? So I closed Quisk, and upon opening it, I can't get the adjustment window back again.
Thanks for working on this for us all.? I especially appreciate it!

Rob

Re: Quisk is not showing anything on Win10 PRO 64bit python 3.11.9
this is able to fix because open quisk or the configure file with non-English OS, it has to be specific encoding with utf8.
trying patched two py files upon runtime error and prompt, it works finally. thanks Jim. configure.py, line 604 fp = open(filename, "r", encoding="utf-8")? quisk.py, line 91 self.fp = open(self.path, "a", buffering=1, encoding='utf-8', errors='replace', newline=None) |
