Any cheap USB-Blaster clone will do. You will have to make up an adapter cable as shown in the picture. -- Sid Boyce ... Hamradio License G3VBV, Licensed Private Pilot Emeritus IBM/Amdahl Mainframes

Re: Latency constraints for remote operation?
Hi Ben, It seems that all my ports are closed, in spite of the port forwarding. At least that explains why it does not work, not the "Why" they are closed. 73 Peter Op 25/11/2022 om 23:39 schreef Ben

Re: Latency constraints for remote operation?
Hi Ben, Yes, PW is set on both devices. The remote and local are both sitting on my desk, so initially I connected them to the LAN, and it worked. Next I connected the Remote to the MIFI and set the

Re: Latency constraints for remote operation?
Just an IP address, in format 123.45.67.89 ... no "http://" or anything else. Don't forget to enter the "Password for Remote Radio" at both ends ... do you see any error messages at either end

Latency constraints for remote operation?
Hi Jim, I hooked up a MIFI unit to emulate a real life internet connection, but it did not work out. All forwarding was set as laid out in the Remote documentation, but to no avail. I called the MIFI

Re: Hiqsdr usb blaster hookup
Hi Jeff, The manufacturer of the board seems to have ceased activities altogether, hence it is hard to get data. The only think I can offer is a schematic (but you probably have that one). Dl2STG

Re: Extra bottomWidget line?
Quisk runs with two threads, a GUI thread and a sound thread. You must not sleep() in the sound thread, as this thread is time critical. If you pause in the GUI thread, you run the risk of freezing

Hi, I am also experiencing occasional UI freezes, but for me it happens also on the local machine (without any remote function) and even in the RX mode (i.e. no RF). For me it isn't 4.2.12 specific it
